Thanks for praying everybody – it was a great week – 9 families now have their own houses – and many more lives were changed.

…and the last 2 will be done tomorrow.
Galvanissa finally delivered the house packages at about 1PM – so those 4 houses were done pretty quickly. Tomorrow we get to finish, officially give the houses to them and have a party – should be fun!

I forgot to mention one thing that happened today – but it was pretty uncommon and threw us a little bit.
There are a couple girls in Las Brisas that we know pretty well – Carmen and Arley. They live together and had a sick uncle that had a lot of tumours all around his body. [...]

This morning we finished packaging all of the food we started yesterday, then we distributed it around the area.
Once that was done, we went swimming with pretty much all of San Antonio – we paid for them and all of their families to get in – it was a little chaotic – just like much [...]

We bought food for Las Brisas, bagged it all and then spent the afternoon with Compassion Group 759 in Jerusalen, San Vicente.
A few of the guys went to meet the kids’ they sponsor – the whole organization threw a huge party. There were flags, a bunch of singing numbers, confetti and ice cream for [...]

Today – 3 families that desperately needed a house got one.
We started pretty early and got on site to an interesting site – so many people were waiting to help – it was insane.
By the end of the day, all of the houses were done, so many people helped it was chaotic at times – [...]

We will get to see a community come together and build other people’s houses like we’ve never seen.
We’re building for:
1. A family of 5. He’s 20, she’s 29. There are 3 kids with a fourth on the way. He’s helped build so many houses over the last 6 months – it’s finally his turn. [...]

And I think that everyone is finally here now. We sort of “lost” somebody in Calgary – US Customs wanted to chat a little too long.
Once he shows up and the last bag arrives, we should be a complete team again. (I’ve been told he’s here – but the bag is tied up in [...]

Yesterday’s medical and optical clinic were a big success! This was the first time a medical clinic has been held in Las Brisas, and 120 people were able to see doctors provided by the mayor of San Vicente.
Over 100 toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste were handed out, and the kids were taught how to brush [...]
